big massive worm.. anyone able to ID ???

Hi guys ..

i came across this worm in one of the pet store...hmm duno if it is a worm or bug..??? length abt 5 cm... diameter abt 2 cm...

anyone able to ID ???

Hi,

If I'm not wrong, these are beetle grub, sometimes, I can find these in my flower pot which is only have soil without plants.

Can use as Feeders?

its maggot, its an important source of food in the jungle, when you dont have food to eat.

its a rhinoceros beetle grub, those short horns which are quite common.

I kept it for a year b4 it turn to a beetle. You can deep fry or make it to a salad and eat it raw.

Complimentary of the chef.

Tastes like roasted peanuts :lol:
You can keep them in special mixes, something like a cocopeat/compost mix. When they turn into adult beetles just feed them sugarcane or beetle jelly.
